DECKING BOARD LETTO 28X95

The brown and smooth AB-grade preserved wood decking board is an easy and durable choice for all decking projects.
Preserved wood products are well-suited for ground and water contact, as well as for construction projects requiring good durability. Thanks to pressure treatment, the decking board retains its shape and is highly suitable for building decks, patios, and docks.
Installation:
Timber that’s pressure-treated and installed outdoors should always be secured with screws or fasteners that can withstand the corrosive effects induced by the metallic salts in the preservatives and damp operating conditions. In all load-bearing structures exposed to moist conditions or weather, or those significant in terms of personal safety, use screws, nails, or fasteners made of stainless or acid-resistant steel.
In other structures, hot-dip galvanized screws and fasteners, such as deck screws, can be used. However, note that the lifespan of pressure-treated wood may exceed that of a hot-dip galvanized fastener. Do not use pressure-treated timber indoors at all, as the treatment may release chemicals into the interior environment.
Maintenance:
Pressure-treated timber will lose its colour over time due to sunlight and moisture. With the right maintenance, the product will remain in good and beautiful condition for a long time.
Decking boards can be treated with tinted or untinted wood oil, a translucent or opaque wood preservative, and exterior paint. To prevent colour faults and streaks, always treat the decking board in its entirety in one go, longitudinally. The board to be treated should be dry and clean before treatment.
